Most French won’t mind communicating in English, but they’ll appreciate the effort you make to learn their language. Here are two ways to learn French.
Miona Lemaître is our in-house French teacher and the founder of GiftedLab, an online platform that offers a wide range of multi-format educational activities for parents, students, and organisations. She has studied at the Belgrade university in Serbia, the Sorbonne University in Paris, and the State University of New Jersey. She offers online courses for all levels that can be taken over a few days, weeks, or even a few months, with practical exercises and homework to make sure you’ll get the most out of them.
If you would like more information, you can contact Miona using our online form at the bottom of the page and selecting “Improve your French”.
If you have a tight budget, the language courses offered by your city are among the most affordable. The Paris municipality for example proposes a 120-hour semester-long language course for no more than 300 euros or even less. All of them are held in one of the many community centres of public schools in the city. More information can be found here. If you’re not living in Paris, contact your local municipality to get more information about the different courses and possibilities.
